Taking The Next Steps Together
Seniors Better Together is here to help you navigate options for community living in your area! Plus, we will help you find a new place to call home that suits your wants and needs.
Live Your Best Life
Senior living communities across the country provide excellent, safe, and engaging places for older adults to live and thrive, wherever you may be in your personal, financial, and health journey.
1.
Positive Impact of Living Together
Residents, family members and community teams have seen first-hand the positive impact of living together in a neighborly environment where people look after each other and where enriching programs for wellness and entertainment, culinary services, and supportive services take the work and worry away from managing a place on your own.
2.
Diversity of Options
There are a variety of residential and service options for today’s seniors. Independent living, assisted living, memory care and Continuing Care Retirement Community(CCRC) living caters to the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of older adults in an atmosphere where caregivers and team members actively engage with residents.
We are so lucky that we have no need to expose ourselves to shopping for necessities. We can also be certain that we will have healthy meals delivered daily!

Heron’s Key continues to be a blessing during the pandemic. I lived alone in a remote area prior to moving. To have been quarantined there would have been horrible on several levels – no neighbors, no shopping, and distance from the hospital.
Linnea M. ⋅ Resident ⋅ Heron’s Key ⋅ Gig Harbor, WA
I have never witnessed my mom so happy and healthy. She has the most amazing friend collective. It gives me peace of mind that her community provides her this supportive, active, and safe environment.
Sari D. ⋅ Family Member ⋅ Heron’s Key ⋅ Gig Harbor, WA
I find being part of a communal effort encourages people to look out for each other. I relish supporting everyone. In return, staff works diligently to provide socially distanced activities, safe visits, meals, transportation, and an abundance of compassion for everyone.

The community has done an outstanding job of keeping my dad safe during the pandemic. They work hard to address questions or concerns, and help family members find ways to stay as connected with our loved ones as possible. I’m so glad my dad is in such a lovely place surrounded by caring staff during this extremely difficult time.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, my mom has been cared for with professional and warm attentiveness. Foundation House at Northgate has maintained all their crucial services and have put their residents at the top of their lengthy list of priorities.
Ward ⋅ Family Member ⋅ Foundation House of Northgate ⋅ Seattle, WA
My children know that I am in a very good and safe place. Interesting residents embrace me and together we are on the path into the autumn of our life. I am glad I don’t have to cook anymore. I will enjoy the upcoming art class. All staff members are kind and helpful. No regrets moving here.
Gertrud ⋅ Resident ⋅ Foundation House of Northgate ⋅ Seattle, WA
I’m so glad to be here. While so many are dealing with this illness, having their lives turned completely upside down, I need not worry, and am grateful knowing caring staff will provide whatever I need.
Jan S. ⋅ Resident ⋅ Franke Tobey Jones ⋅ Tacoma, WA
These are strange times, that’s for sure, but I’m impressed with the way the community is handling it all. All is well here. Lots of folks are out walking every day.
Charlotte Y. ⋅ Resident ⋅ Rockwood South Hill ⋅ Spokane, WA
I have a degree in Microbiology, so I understand how quickly viruses spread. The staff is doing a great job with cleaning being done several times a day which is great. They are very diligent for our safety.
Walt J. ⋅ Resident ⋅ Rockwood South Hill ⋅ Spokane, WA
I give Franke Tobey Jones a five star rating! My husband Ron and I moved here in 2016, and we’ve been grateful every day since then. FTJ has something for everyone, in fact everything we need and more including beauty salons, libraries, podiatrist, exercise classes like tai chi and yoga, a large gym, discussion groups on all kinds of interesting topics, classes through Senior University, trip and outings. The best part is the compassionate and competent staff in EVERY area, and the many friends we’ve made. We even got to bring our spoiled cat Rusty!
When I first came to Bartlesville, I didn’t know anyone, except my daughter and her family. Green Country Village staff helped me get acquainted and I quickly made some great friends. The staff has been very helpful and caring, both every day, and during emergencies. I have enjoyed numerous activities here, including live entertainment, movies, bingo, and brain games. I participate in a cardio fitness class 3 times a week as well. The food is always good and there are many choices. Maintenance and housekeeping staff are very helpful and pleasant. My experience here at Green Country has been “top notch” and I consider it my home.
Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center is a game changer! Now it’s about adding meaningful life to their years.
The surroundings are beautiful. The minute I saw Fredericka, I said, this is the place for me.
Our sincerest thanks for the loving care you gave to our mom, over the years. It was always comforting knowing she was well cared for. Your dedication to our mom as well as all the residents at Monte Vista Grove Homes is truly remarkable.
Monte Vista Grove Homes has truly became a beloved home away from home. Over these last 4 years, CNA’s and nurses, mom’s friends who have become our friends too, members of the administration, housekeepers and the grounds crew, all supported us in many ways during our stays.
My days are filled with activity; I go to bed happily exhausted. I couldn’t ask for a better place. The care is unbelievable. They’ll stop what they’re doing to give you a hug.
River Park helps me with little things (like turning on the TV to a classical concert that I didn’t know about, but absolutely love to watch) to the big things, like taking me for a drive on the mini bus when I am feeling blue and need a pick-me-up.
Revere Court does a wonderful job of recognizing the needs of their residents and adjusting their care accordingly. The activities and regular interaction helped my mom find joy everyday which, in turn, helped my family with becoming part of a Memory Care community. I feel truly blessed that we were able to find a community as unique as Revere Court.
My Father has lived at Revere Court for 6 years and I can’t say enough good things about that decision. The staff is amazing and attentive. The programs they offer to our loved ones are exciting and enriching on a daily basis. Placing my Father in a memory care home was the most stressful and difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make but I’m so thankful I chose Revere Court. They put all my worries at ease and have handled the pandemic gracefully and carefully to keep our family members safe and loved.

My mom has lived at Revere Court of South Barrington for over 2 years. During this stressful last year, I am so grateful for all the extraordinary efforts the Revere team has done to keep Mom safe. The communication and care has been top notch and more than I could have hoped for! Every time I do a video chat or social distant and safe indoor visit, my mom is happy and clearly well cared for. Thank you Revere Court of South Barrington for being there for my Mom.

My Mother was a resident and it truly became ‘Mom’s House.’ The love and support she received as well as, we her family did, made all the difference. It helped all of us to adjust to such a life change. The Difference is Love. I have continued to volunteer here because I could never repay them for all they did for her and us.”
